Improve Your Cooking Game with the Ninja Foodi Convection Oven
I absolutely LOVE my Ninja Foodi Convection Oven. I wanted a countertop oven, but I hated the fact that it was going to take up a bunch of space on my countertop. After researching what was available I fell in love with the Ninja Foodi Convection Oven. It flips up and out of the way once you are done using it. Thus, taking up 50% less space on your countertop!
When flipped up, you hardly know it is there. One of the best parts is that it doesn’t take hardly any time for it to cool off before you can flip it up. By the time you eat and get the dishes done it has cooled off and can be flipped up against the backsplash.
A few of the things I love about the Ninja Foodi Convection Oven
- It only takes about 60 seconds for it to preheat. When using the air roast function it will cook up to 60% faster than a traditional oven.
- When it is hot out you don’t have to heat up the kitchen with the stove oven.
- Cleaning is very easy. The back (bottom) of the oven opens for easy cleaning.
- I love the air fryer function. My favorite is french fries. I cut up the fries, coat them with just a little bit of olive oil and place them on the rack. In 15 – 20 minutes I have great tasting fries without all the grease.

There are 3 different models to suit your needs.
The basics are all the same. Differences are the functions available and the height of the oven.
SP101 Ninja Foodi Convection Oven
This model has 8 functions:

- Air roast

It is the shortest of the 3 models. There is only about a 2″ gap above the grill to place your food. For example, chicken breasts fit in here just fine but you can’t fit anything taller than that.
This is the model I have. To my knowledge the taller versions were not available at the time I purchased mine. I would probably choose a taller model now. However – note, the taller the oven, the more space it will take up on your counter when it is flipped up.

Ninja SP201 Countertop 8-in-1 Oven with Extended Height, XL Capacity
This model has 8 functions:

This model is a little taller than the Ninja SP101. When comparing the two models the height is enough larger to place a casserole dish in the oven.
The high capacity oven will fit 6 chicken breasts, 9 slices of toast, 4 lbs of air-fried ingredients or a 2 lb roast.

Ninja SP301 Dual Heat 13-in-1 Oven
The Ninja SP301 is the only model that has dual heat technology. The combination of a 500° SearPlate and up to 500° rapid cyclonic air work together to allow you to sear and crisp at the same time giving you restaurant-worthy results.
Height is the same as the Ninja SP201. It holds a two lb roast, 6 chicken breasts, 9 slices of toast or 4 lbs of ingredients. The big difference between the SP201 vs the SP301 is the number of functions. There are 8 basic functions on both the SP101 and the SP201. The SP301 has 5 additional features. If you are considering a model with the extended height I would go with the SP301 model considering the difference in price is minimal.
